Company Background

 

Diversified Tool & Die is a privately held precision metal stamping company which was established in Santa Ana California in 1972 by Ernst and Rosa Wilms. Mr. Wilms immigrated to the United States in 1952 after serving his toolmaking apprenticeship (stamping tooling) at Robert Bosch GmbH in Stuttgart Germany.

After approximately 10 years at its original Santa Ana location, DTD relocated to a custom built 12,500 Sq. foot facility in Oceanside (North San Diego County). In 1996 we expanded once again into our current custom built 33,000 Sq. foot facility.

Since our modest beginnings in Santa Ana, Diversified's long held policy of vertical integration (in house prototyping, die design, die making, wire edm, stamping, and deburring) have made us the first choice for stamping by numerous world class companies.
